Cookeville Regional Endocrinology Office will begin its move into a new location starting this Friday.
The office will be moving to the hospital’s campus, at 145 West 4th Street. Endocrinology Office Site Manager Ginger Flatt said the new office location will allow for more exam rooms and a larger waiting area.
“It’s very important,” Flatt said. “We see a lot of patients, and just being able to have access for them was a need that the community needed.”
Flatt said the Endocrinology office will close on Friday and expects to reopen at the new location on Monday. Flatt said opening the new office is an exciting time.
“We are all looking forward to it,” Flatt said. “Just being able to be inside the hospital and being more conveniently located to things that are in the hospital and not off campus from them.”
Flatt said CRMC has done marketing and sent out postcards to patients to notify people of the new location.
“We will still be offering the same great services that we have, including our in-office lab, our diabetes education, and our clinician pharmacist, that is dedicated to supporting all of our endocrinology patients,” Flatt said.
Flatt said she wants to remind people that CRMC does offer a shuttle service for anyone who needs assistance in getting to the new office from the parking lot.
