Snow, Ice Force Moves For High School Basketball Games


Weather conditions this weekend has caused multiple Upper Cumberland teams to postpone their high school basketball games scheduled for this week.

White County and York’s game, scheduled for Monday, will be postponed to February 16th.

Monday’s scheduled game between Jackson County and Pearl Cohn has been cancelled.

The Cumberland County game at home against Coalfield has bee postponed, with no makeup date yet announced.

Upperman’s games have also been cancelled, as the Lady Bees were supposed to host the King’s Academy tonight, while the Bees were supposed to host Tennessee Heat.

Tuesday’s game including Cookeville hosting Lincoln County has also been postponed. The Cavaliers will now host Lincoln County February 12th with a tipoff time for 5 pm.

DeKalb’s game against Central Magnet has also been cancelled.

Clarkrange and Pickett County’s matchup scheduled for Tuesday has now been moved to Thursday night.

York and Stone Memorial’s matchup has been postponed, with a makeup date yet to be announced.

Jackson County’s Tuesday matchup against Red Boiling Springs has been postponed to February 7th.

Monterey’s game against Smith County has been moved from Tuesday to Friday, February 6th.
