TSSAA announced three Mister and Miss Basketball finalists for all six classes Thursday morning.
Two different girls basketball players were nominated Miss Basketball Finalists.The Pickett County Bobcats girls basketball team saw senior guard Zoey Nicholas nominated in Class 1A. Cumberland County Lady Jets guard Sydney Wilhite was named one of three finalists in Class 3A.
Boys basketball saw two players in the Upper Cumberland also named as Mister Basketball Finalists. Jackson County forward Will McCrary was announced as one of the finalists in Class 1A. Upperman guard Ty Cobb was named a Mister Basketball Finalist in Class 3A. Cobb won Mister Basketball in Class 3A last season.
The award ceremony is scheduled for March 10th on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University. The ceremony will be held at the Tucker Theater at 5:30 pm and will be open to the public.
