Cookeville Men Arrested, Drug Raid Seizes Guns, Cash

Two Cookeville men face multiple charges following a joint drug investigation that resulted in the seizure of narcotics, firearms, and cash.

Logan Richardson faces one count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Deliver, or Sell Schedule VI drugs. Authorities also charged him with one count of Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Dangerous Felony.

Special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Cookeville Police Department executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home in the 800 block of East Broad Street. The investigation began in January after authorities received an online tip regarding illegal drug sales in the area.

TBI agents seized marijuana, cocaine, MDMA, and THC cartridges during the search.

Investigators also recovered seven firearms, multiple rounds of ammunition, and drug paraphernalia from the residence. Authorities seized $40,000 in cash during the operation.

The two arrested and booked into the Putnam County Jail. The operation involved special agents assigned to the Drug Investigation Division and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force.
