The month of April has seen boys and girls Upper Cumberland high school teams make changes in head coaching roles.
Cookeville Cavaliers boys basketball head coach Matt Hill has resigned from the position after two seasons and taking the Cavaliers to the sectional round this past season. A new head coach has yet to be announced.
Monterey Wildcats boys basketball head coach Will Putnam has stepped down from his position. Monterey has announced former assistant coach Tyrus West will lead the Wildcats next season.
DeKalb Lady Tigers girls basketball head coach Brandy Alley stepped down from coaching earlier this month. DeKalb has announced former Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles assistant coach Lilly Bridges will take the reigns in Smithville next season.
Earlier this month, former Clarkrange Lady Buffaloes head coach Lamar Rogers resigned after 50 years at the position. A new coach has yet to be announced by the school.
