Republican and Democratic candidates in Cumberland County are moving forward to the August General Election.
Republican Country Trustee candidate Kim Tollett Wyatt received 65 percent of the vote to Jill Ritzman’s 33 percent and will advance to August.
Republican Register of Deeds candidate Trey Kerley with 69 percent of the vote will advance over Steve Powell who received 30 percent of the vote.
District One County Commission Republican candidate Wiley Potter receiving 47 percent of the vote and Sue Ann York with 52 percent of the vote will both advance to August.
District Three County Commission Republican candidates Craig Clark receiving 48 percent of the vote and Karen Shanks receiving 50 percent of the vote will both advance to August.
District Four County Commission Republican candidates Gary Adams receiving 49 percent of the vote and David Gibson with 49 percent of the vote will both advance.
District Five County Commission Republican candidate Jack Davis receiving 36 percent of the vote and Terry Lowe with 38 percent of the vote will both advance.
District Six County Commission Republican candidates Joe Sherrill with 54 percent of the vote and Wendell Wilson with 45 percent of the vote will advance.
District Seven County Commission Republican candidates Jerry Cooper with 58 percent of the vote and Ralph Reagan with 40 percent of the vote will both advance to August.
District Eight County Commission Republicans Keith Burgess Jr. with 43 percent and Greg Maxwell with 56 percent as well as Democratic candidate Deborah Holbrook will advance to August.
District Nine County Commission Republicans Colleen Mall with 39 percent of the vote and John Patterson with 33 percent of the vote along with Democrat James Janecek will advance to the August General Election.
Republican County Clerk candidate Jule Bryson will advance.
Republican Road Superintendent candidate Kevin Music will advance.
Republican Circuit Court Clerk Jessica Burgess will advance to August.
School Board District Three Republican candidate Sheryl Nichols will advance to August.
School Board District Five Republican candidate Chris Seals will advance.
School Board District Seven Republican Blair Woodcock will advance to August.
School Board District Nine Republican candidate Dan Schlafer will advance.
District Two County Commission Republican candidate Tom Isham will advance.
