Cookeville motorists will face another few days of South Maple Avenue next week as crews perform road maintenance.
Cookeville Public Works Department announced Friday the road will remain close between England Drive and Highway 111. Public Works Department is conducting shoulder upgrades and stabilization along the roadway.
Officials said said residents must follow posted detour signage to prevent delays or the need for turnarounds.
