Crossville expanding its retail footprint through a $50 million development featuring several national retailers directly across from Buc-ee’s.
Officials said the 180,000-square-foot retail center will feature Aldi, Hobby Lobby, Marshall’s and Burlington. The Genesis Road project is expected to create 200 jobs and generate additional local sales tax revenue.
Sales tax generated by the development will help pay for infrastructure improvements needed to serve the site, including construction of a new access road.
Officials described the project as a public-private partnership designed to support new commercial investment in the area.
Developers will announce a construction timeline and additional retailers as plans are finalized.
