The Putnam County Planning Commission has approved a preliminary plat for a 22-lot subdivision on Rocky Point Road.
The subdivision plat received preliminary approval, pending confirmation that the proposed road intersection meets required sight-distance standards and that detailed road design plans are acceptable. The lots range in size from 0.46 acres to 2.23 acres. The subdivision will feature a new cul-de-sac.
In other business, the Danny Jo West Division Final Plat was approved with a plat note. The plat was previously approved, subject to soils in November. The soils on the lot two were worse than anticipated, and TDEC will not approve them.
The lot has been approved as a non-buildable lot. The note states that the lot is not to be approved for any use requiring wastewater treatment and can only be used for storage rental units and similar uses that do not require septic or sewer, unless sewer becomes available.
The commission approved to allow two lots be created from a parcel located on Fox Hill Road.
Final plats were tabled for properties located on Ball Hill Road and Rodgers Cemetery Road. The two plats were tabled because no representatives showed up.
A revision plat was approved for an existing tract on Stover Road. The plat is adding a portion along the lot but not including the easement.
A Division plat to create one parcel on Water Plant Road was approved with a note that the property could not be divided or developed.
