Tennessee Tech Athletics has announced ticket prices and plans for the new Tucker Stadium.
Athletic Director Casey Fox said the west side of Tucker Stadium will feature new amenities, concessions, chairback seating, and a club-level section. The stadium will also offer a President’s Suite that has a capacity of 40, along with 13 other suites that include catering and the best views of the game. Fox said the university believes the football program’s success is not a flash in the pan and recommends that fans purchase tickets now.
“We are in it for the long haul for sustained success, and so I would say to people, you know, get in and get your seat now, while you have a choice and don’t wait for a year or two or three down the road when seats start to become scarce,” Fox said.
In addition, Fox said all seating at Tucker Stadium, including the east side, will return to reserved seating, a system the stadium has not used for the past two years. Fox said the university will also launch a new website to help guide fans through the different seating options.
“It’s an interactive website that fans can use and see seat maps, pricing, and renderings of the stadium when it’s fully completed,” Fox said. “And that’ll be coming out here soon, shortly.”
Fans seeking premium seating and expanded food options will be able to purchase tickets in the Club Level, which will feature 561 seats. The section will offer wide stadium seats and prime sightlines of the field. Ticket holders will also have access to a climate-controlled lounge with premium concessions and dedicated restrooms before and during games.
Fox said season tickets on the east side of Tucker Stadium will range from $150 to $250, while west side seating will range from $425 to $625. Fox said he believes the pricing structure provides an option for fans at different price points and said the upcoming season will bring a different but exciting gameday experience.
“August 29, can’t get here soon enough,” Fox said. “We are looking forward to hosting Monmouth in the new, reimagined Tucker Stadium.”
Tennessee Tech University will play its first football season in the Southern Conference this fall after spending 76 years in the Ohio Valley Conference. Tickets go on sale March 16.
