Monterey Police arrested a man on allegations he exploited an elderly woman and stole some $17,500.
Charles Martin Davis allegedly obtained the victim’s financial account information to access the funds over a period of time. The arrest followed an investigation into the suspected theft of money from the victim. He was charged with the Financial Exploitation of Elderly or Vulnerable Person and theft.
Davis was transported to the Putnam County Jail where he was booked on the warrants.
