Incumbents David Lankford, Bruce Elder, and Bill Linder secured their return to the Livingston Board of Aldermen Tuesday.
The unopposed municipal election drew 50 total voters with 37 votes cast on Election Day. The remainder voted absentee. Because there was no opposition, the County Election Commission did not offer early voting.
Lankford finished with 43 votes. Elder and Linder each received 38 votes.
The numbers appear similar to the 2022 election, which also included three people running unopposed.
Elections Administrator Craig Story said this afternoon the turnout had been “very, very slow.” A candidate only had to receive one vote to win election.
