NTSB Investigates Wednesday Plane Crash in Warren County


The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating a plane crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon near Doyle Frazier Road in Morrison.

An observer said they heard a thud and an engine that was struggling prior to the crash.

“The National Transportation Safety Board is aware of the plane crash and is currently gathering information. Updates will be provided as additional details become available,” Officials said in a release.

The incident in Warren County marks the sixth plane crash in Tennessee during 2026, according to data from the safety board. There have been seven total aviation accidents in the state this year, including one helicopter crash.
