A Soddy Daisy man died Monday when his tractor trailer left I-40 and collided with the Highway 56 overpass near Silver Point.
52-year-old Billy Holcomb of Soddy Daisy died when the truck left the right side of the roadway and impacted the overpass. The incident happened around 3pm Monday, tying up traffic for several hours.
According to the preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, no other vehicles were involved.
